Charmant is the vision of native New Orleanians, Chris and Bonnie Borges who have a combined 60 years of hospitality experience. It is a neighborhood bistro rooted in the spirit of New Orleans – warm, lively, off-beat and full of heart. Guided by our mission to cultivate community through locally sourced, sustainable cuisine, we aim to create a dining experience that feels as comforting and connected as sharing a meal with family. Our space blends Old World charm with a contemporary sensibility to offer a sophisticated yet unpretentious environment where guests feel welcomed, appreciated, and part of something vibrant.
Chef Chris’ menu features updated interpretations of classic European dishes. Small plates, hearty and fun mains, and a la carte offerings highlight our commitment to seasonal produce and relationships with local farmers. It is complemented by a robust craft cocktail program, and Bonnie’s thoughtfully curated wine list. An experience designed to satisfy both the palate and soul.
When not at Charmant, Chris and Bonnie are busy raising their family of four kids, dog Tomtom, and cat Willow.

Wine Program
Wine is positioned as a central part of the dining experience. Curated by General Manager and Sommelier Bonnie Borges, the list is designed to introduce our guests to interesting lesser known wines and grape varietals that they may not have previously encountered, while also maintaining an offering of their tried-and-true favorites.
